"There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more."
Lord Byron
My Mission

We can never get this exact moment back ever again. Photography is my way to capture something that stirs within us all.

Nature whirls around, sits beside us and at times resides within. Life and death emanates throughout its seasons repeatedly, mimicking life. Natures gentle warm ways can change on a dime and show it’s ominous and intense side without a backwards glance. There is a comforting cycle to nature. It connects us all if we let it.

About The Artist

As a child, Dawn could often be found wandering outdoors in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Collecting treasures and observing nature was a regular event. Reoccurring dreams of oceans and colourful creatures eventually led her to the Canadian West Coast in British Columbia.

She designed and photographed jewelry in the past and completed a design basics course using photography as her medium.

She lived in Paris and Amsterdam with her husband for almost 2 years and has recently settled back to life in British Columbia. Dawns curiosity to capture stories through photography will keep her exploring and sharing for years to come.
